Statement on SPLM-DC Convention

The so called Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – Democratic Change (SPLM-DC) Convention held in Friendship Hall and financed by SPLM-DC’s Mother, The National Congress Party (NCP), was nothing but a cover up by the NCP to destroy the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) using Dr. Lam Akol.

SPLM-DC is the same as NCP and was manufactured in the factory of the NCP in Kenana Last year. The so called SPLM-DC was created and financed to destroy the CPA especially to deny the Referendum for the People of South Sudan and Abyei, and create hindrance to the complete implementation of the CPA.

Lam Akol is known for allowing himself to be used by the NCP when we are almost crossing the bridge. The people of South Sudan and the marginalized people of Sudan will not allow him to be an obstacle at this time.

The convention is a way for Lam Akol to get money from the NCP, so the breasts of the mother, the NCP, now suckled on by Lam Akol is enjoyable, but I am afraid when the milk run dry, Lam Akol will come back again to the SPLM. Our brother Lam is only for position and opportunity, neither for the cause of the South Sudan nor for that of the marginalized people of Sudan.
