She further added the need to improve stability to encourage the IDPs to return home stressing that the UNMIS team in Abyei is doing the best it can to ensure situation return normal.

According to the southern Sudan humanitarian body, SSRRC, the number of IDPs from Abyei in the past stood at around 200,000 people.

90,000 returned to Abyei? This is a fake figure. These Abyei residents became acquainted with life in the north and they can’t stay there for long.

Out of that 90,000, 60,000 had already returned to Khartoum. If you can not believe, go to Abyei station at Omdurman an observe how many come daily.

They like IDP life in tukuls made of cartons/boxes, sacks and reels at Wad Bashir, Soba arazi, Mayo, Mandela, Jebel Aulia and other Khartoum poor places.

    What a heal!!!
