Sudan Eid Holiday begins Sunday

September 15, 2009 (KHARTOUM) —Sudan’s government sector will observe Eid holidays that follows the fasting month of Ramadan starting Sunday, state media reported.

The secretariat of the Sudanese cabinet issued an order stating the government workers will return to business on Wednesday.

Sudan’s two day weekend starts on Friday prompting the state minister at the cabinet Kamal Abdel-Latif to stress that all employees are to report to work on Wednesday.

The Sudanese official added that any absences would be reported for further action.
