Juba conference hampers peace implementation – NCP

September 27, 2009 (KHARTOUM) — Sudan’s dominant party today said Juba meeting will hamper the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed in 2005 between the National Congress Party (NCP) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).

Mandour_Al-Mahdi.jpgSudanese opposition parties and the SPLM started today a four day meeting to discuss CPA implementation, Darfur conflict and the upcoming election of April 2010. The NCP decided to boycott the meeting saying it aims to create a new alliance against it ahead of the election.

The NCP political bureau Officer Mandoor Al-Mahdi on Sunday stressed that what is happening in Juba is a conspiracy against the CPA signed with the NCP “the big partner who implements the peace agreement.”

He also said that SPLM alliance with the opposition parties has a very negative impact on the implementation of the peace deal. He further added this alliance would weaken the CPA’s implementation.

The NCP official also slammed statements by the SPLM Secretary General, Pagan Amum who had said that his party had the means to enforce the resolutions of Juba conference.

“The boycott of this meeting by 72% of political forces forming the government of national unity and all southern Sudan parties confirms that the SPLM and its new allies will be able to implement the resolutions they can adopt,” Mandoor said.

He further said the SPLM intends to use the northern forces to achieve some progress in its difference with the NCP over referendum and census outcome.

Next month the Sudanese parliament will resume its activities and expected to discuss the referendum bill. However discussions at the joint political committee between the two parties are deadlocked over the issue.

Mandoor pointed out that the dialogue with the SPLM is stalemated due to these developments, adding the SPLM need to show its goodwill “so that we can resolve the outstanding issues.”

Yea SPLM need to show it’s goodwill so that we will resolved the outstanding issues? That ‘s sign of weakeness for ncp figures like this guy. At this time, SPLM will not begged for implementation of CPA, but will use any kind of tools to bring down ncp, especially people like nafi Ali nafi which always use the language of threatening and force at Goss. Let just wait for oitcoming election and see who is a jackass n dumbass, loser. No more begging for peace.

Isn’t if funny how the NCP just loves throwing empty slogons and comments around. So ya Mandoor would you care to explain to us how the Juba conference will “Hamper peace implementation”?

I even find it more funny that they somehow tend to believe that the NCP has the support of the Northern mases. You Mandoor and the rest of the NCP thugs will one day face justice for all your crimes against us Sudanese.

Judgement day is soon, so prepare yourself NCP thugs!

Exclude Dr. Riak Machar in any discussion between North and South Sudan if you SPLA want to at least achieve/defeat NCP.
