Lakes state parliament swears in new member

October 7, 2009 (RUMBEK) – The Lakes state Legislative Assembly swore
in on Monday a new member, Mr. Ater Jeremiah Telar, who is 31 years
old.

Mr. Telar replaces his late father Hon. Jeremiah Telar Arol, in
accordance with a presidential decree of the Government of Southern
Sudan (GOSS). The decree number 113/2009 was issued September 16,
2009.

Hon. Jeremiah Telar Arol had passed away on September 1, 2009 after a
long illness called multiple-organ failure. The illness led to his
death in Nairobi.

Hon. Telar served in Lakes state parliament for three years and was
appointed acting minister for parliamentary affairs in 2007. The late
lawmaker late usually represented Abang Payam of Yirol West County.

Late Jeremiah Telar Arol had married 14 wives and is survived by 45
children. Ater’s mother is ninth among Arol’s wives.

    Thinking of it, that is why there are ghost names in the employment in south sudan.

    This is why corruption is unprecedented in south sudan.

    Wow!! Does 14 wives that produced 45 children contributed to alleviation of proverty in south sudan? Congratulation to Mr. Ater J. Telar Jr; but please don’t follow your father’s footsteps by marrying 14 wives.

    This does not alleviate poverty in south sudan and it quickly leads to corruptions in the employment of ghost names to support this big family.
