In a four day meeting hosted by the SPLM in Juba last September, over twenty Sudanese parties warned they would boycott the general election scheduled to take place in April next year if the Sudanese parliament does not pass, before November 30, a number of laws aiming at creating an appropriate environment for the multi-party elections.

Leaders from 28 political parties formally signed Juba Declaration for Dialogue and National Consensus at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum in presence of former Prime Minister Sadiq Al-Mahdi, who is the leader of Umma party and Hassan Al-Turabi, the leader of Popular Congress Party, Dr. Riek Machar GOSS Vice-President and SLPM deputy chairman represented his party besides Pagan Amum.

Speaking at the event, Al-Mahdi pointed to the “fall of individual solutions pursued” by the dominant National Congress Party, affirming that the national solution represents the real gate to get out of the current Sudanese crisis.

Al Mahdi identified Darfur, the 2010 elections and the referendum on self-determination for Southern Sudan in 2011 as major challenges facing the country.

Dr. Machar for his part reiterated the SPLM commitment to Juba Declaration and called on the National Congress Party to join the declaration in order to reach national consensus which should allow to pull out the country from the current difficult situation.

He further stressed they are counting on dialogue to develop a national project laying the groundwork to build a new Sudan able to achieve radical change in the country to make the choice of unity attractive for southerners.

The National Congress Party and his allies refused to take part in the meeting asking to open the meeting for all the political parties and to associate them to the preparation of the conference.

Dialogue and the rule of law are the only ways that can help the Sudanese people come out of troubles. But wasting money on buying guns and bribing people to support the dead hyena is not a solution.

When the SPLM itself gets elected in the South and is not Dinka Dominated then they can sign proclamations of democracy. What’s more worrying is why is the Dinka SPLM signing agreements with Arabs that it brainwashed the Southern populace as evil?

By signing Juba declaration, the CPA is now being run by the Northern Opposition/SPLM on one hand hand and on another hand NCP. Therefore, IGAD, US and other countries who are witnesses and monitors to the CPA and formed supervising joint commissions between SPLM/NCP to the CPA implementation are derived now from their roles.

This will give legal right to the NCP to accuse SPLM as first party to the CPA violation.

SPLM should not has sign any agreement that contridict the precedented process reached between SPLM and NCP in 2005. But what SPLM should has done is to report to witnesses if there is violation of NCP to the CPA.

How would SPLM GET OUT FROM SUCH VIOLAATORY AGREEMENT?

Machar “further stressed they are counting on dialogue to develope a national project laying the groundwork to build a new Sudan able to achieve radical change in the country to make the choice of unity attractive for Southerners”. If I am not wrong this is the first of it kind statement from Machar calling for initiative to make unity attractive per the vision of New Sudan, something he deadly opposes! Is Machar changing his mind? Or is it just another color of Riek that the southern mass have failed to recognized in him? Riek, as many claim, is widely known as a “yes” man who can easily fall prey to most witful political gamblers. I hope this statement he had just made is not an indication of another abrupt sharp turn he might want to make.

Gatwech, Thieling and other Nuer thugs, look at your Riek and how he is potraited by the you Buoony or Nuers master the arabs. Riek is potrayed as white eyed and is searching the eye of Al Tuorabi and he looks like a prostitute.
And now for the first time Riek is using terms that were associated with Dr. John Garang such as making unity attractive and the choice of the new Sudan or Sudan break up?

Exactly this is the tone of John Garang and Salva Kiir for reason they know because in politics you says what will be bought and you actually knows that you wants this but for PR you have to be tactica full. Riek Machar is a man who cannot be trusted and he remains a traitor to the groups of Southerners. He betrayed John Garang and Salva Kiir along with southern populace all along and says things that are not supposed to be said by somebody who has potentials to leads one day in the near future. The reason why we as humans criticizes our leaders but not detroy them is because we know that we are the next leaders after them. Riek was so angst on John Garang and Salva Kiir.

Now the man has been given a second chance to negotiate with Khartoum because he did it during his KPA agreement but failed throughly to join Garang’s venue for the talk. Actually it was Wani’s, Garang’s, Kiir’s and Pagan’s venue that yield the CPA. There was not Riek.

I would have say SPLM/GOSS is using its new technical to get what she wants for her citizens, however Al-Mahdi and Turabi are already seniors at playing the game that SPLM are playing with them now. Let ask these questions. Dose SPLM know who was the leader of Mojadeen and Dopachabi? what were their goals or objectives toward south or in sudan? Is dopachabi and mojadeen death now? By signig declaration with thses people, SPLM signed bloody papers. Now SPLM is an opposition of NCP that was its main ally since they signed CPA in Kenya. Please, please, please do not run to pick up guns when you lose the game. There is no tow winners at the same time.
