75 of Minnawi troops integrate Sudanese army

November 11, 2009 (KHARTOUM) — 75 members of Darfur former rebel group led by Minni Minniawi integrated today the Sudanese three years after the signing of Darfur Peace Agreement with the Sudanese government.

For longtime Minnawi resisted Khartoum request to disarm his troops and to integrate them to the Sudanese army. The former rebel leader who used to say only 15% of the DPA is implemented asks the government to include the Abuja agreement in the Constitution.

With the general election in April 2010, the transitional period will reach its term. Minnawi, who is currently the Senior Presidential Adviser and head of transitional authority in Darfur, will lose all these positions by the end of interim period.

The Council of Political Parties refuses to register the Sudan Liberation Movement of Minni Minnawi as a political party because his military wing does not integrate the Sudanese army. Without the registration the former rebels cannot participate in the upcoming election.

“The moment of integration and unity of word of Sudanese people has come, said Minnawi in a speech he delivered during the graduation ceremony of 75 former rebels at the military academy.

Minnawi further called on graduates to abide by the laws of army and polices which he described as national institutions.

The SLM-MM Revolutionary Liberation Council on October 26 the former rebel group reiterated its readiness to participate in the elections.

Now as Minnawi started the merger of his fighters with the Sudanese army, the commission of security arrangement of the DPA implementation should give the green light to the Council of Political Parties to register his group as political party.

Minni Minawi who is not strong enough to be participate any political movement anyways.
Surely, Khartoum will never vote for Minawi’s demands of sign the deal with Abuja, Nigerian accords, because simply Khartoum, Sudan can’t play the different role as simple as that.
Even though, Egypt won’t allowed to happen, “Mr.Minawi?”
So, Minawi’s hope to introduce Abuja demands can’t be any appreciations for any Sudanese government.

What I know,Minni, who was chased outside the palace licking his betrayal wounds;has no any forces left to be integrated, because the hand-picked battle-weary opportunists fighters and his next of a kin,who want with him, either killed or defected back to the bush in disarray. But the NCP was bring this issue to the media,in order to allude the International Community, that Abuja is still a live and they are implementing it’s terms.May God bring your end soon, you foxy Islamists.
