Sudanese president receives Saudi higher education minister

KHARTOUM, April 18, 2004 (SUNA) — President of the Republic Gen Umar al-Bashir received at the Guest House here Saturday 17 April, the Saudi minister of higher education, Dr Khalid Bin-Muhammad al-Angari, in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Mubarak al-Majdhub.

Dr Al-Angari told Suna that he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd Bin-Abd-al-Aziz and Crown Prince Abdallah Bin-Abd-al-Aziz to President Al-Bashir, adding that he briefed President Al-Bashir on the outcome of his meetings in Sudan and the cooperation agreement signed Saturday between Sudan and Saudi Arabia in the education field.

He added that he had heard directions from President Al-Bashir on relations between institutions of higher education in the two countries, referring to the current close cooperation between the said institutions.
