SPLM-DC says 1500 people defected to join its ranks
December 1, 2009 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudan people’s Liberation Movement – Democratic Change (SPLM-DC) announced today that some 1500 people from Unity State have defected from the Southern Sudan ruling party and joined its ranks.
The SPLM-DC Secretary General Charles Kisanga in a statement released on Tuesday said that he had received in his office on November 26 two representatives from the Youth Movement in Unity sate.
“The Youth representatives handed a Press release to the Secretary General which detailed that 1500 members of the SPLM from both Youth and ordinary members have decided to join SPLM-DC.”
The defectors said in a statement written in Arabic language they decided to join the SPLM-DC “because they believe in the objectives of the SPLM-DC and they admire the leadership of the SPLM-DC for saying they are for the original manifesto of the SPLM and they intend to abide the party constitution.”
Kisanga who welcomed the move said he called on the youth to mobilize and get all the members to register for voting in the Election process in order to change democratically the ruling party in southern Sudan semi-autonomous region.

Please this Dc is the dead end. SPLM-Dc was form when Lam Akol loss his ministry position. He was forming this party because he is looking for the job. The Lam idiology could not puzzle the Southerners;indeed,the guy was reall smart that is why he suck Bashier money ever since. He did the mess to our great leader Riek Machar which he will not tollerate in his spare life till his death,but he thanks Dr Garang Mabior for the current position which he bend and bow before him. People like Riek knows him and i think these youth will know him in the long-run.
Where is the destiny of Lam Akol?. perhaps heaven or hell.

Why do you people always leave the truth and end up calling yourselves by tribes, states and so on. Why can’t people like Logic boy, Dinka boy etc one day reason out their foolishness and comment on sensible ideas.

Now wait and see after getting our independence in 2011 by then the oil revenue will be 100% and managed by us the owners not longer the 50% of what no any single person in Southern Sudan know whether it’s the right figure or not just signing it and turn ½ of the budget into private issues, only being received without knowing the formula

B-Go to any Garbage and find out from the remnants of food and find out what kind of food is being eaten now days and compare to what was there before CPA.
C- Take a move around and see the Vehicles driven in Juba and the jam on the Juba main roads even if they are got or bought by corrupt money but remember they belong to Southerners not longer Northerners.
D- The construction of roads and buildings in Juba at least it’s a sign of development, the grass tucked houses if you are living in Juba here you can at least witness it they are coming to an end.
E-Since creation of the world Sudan had been a blessed land with a lot of resources but no any single day has the Arabs made the Southerners happy in spite of our wealth, all this went to Khartoum for buying bullets, guns, planes for killing us even a single day no any development was done.
Now parents see how your kids are enjoying the begging of their wealth by traveling to school in buses what you their parents didn’t dream of it oneday.
F. All states in Southern Sudan have an access to travel by air it has become so easy such that anyone now can travel by a place.
G-Southerners used to hear a place passing over their heads but now you can touch it, sit in it and travel in it.
H-See how people are now days disqualifying mineral water from Rwenzori to cool or Aqunna which was not there only the mineral water was seen in a TV just being taken by president Bashir and his NCP members.
The CPA and SPLM/ A is not for dinkas I have to assuredly tell everyone that its for the Sudanese people and it must remain for the Sudanese people forget of the barking dogs who were lying in refugee camps and today claiming that they are liberators.
Any one who truly fought for this peace will never point a finger at a tribe, state, religion or boosting for what he did by giving up his life for his people.
