Sudan-Brazil joint committee to hold meeting next week
December 3, 2009 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese Undersecretary for foreign affairs Mutrif Sideeg is heading to the Brazilian capital for the third session of the three-day Brazil-Sudan political consultation committee starting on Monday.
The head of the American Bureau at the Sudanese foreign ministry Nasr Al-Deen Wali told reporters that the committee will discuss pushing and enhancing bilateral relations in areas of development, agriculture and industry as well as exchanging experiences in higher education, youth and sports.
The Sudanese delegation will include representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, energy and mining, investment, higher education, youth and sports and the agriculture minister.
Both countries have appeared to take keen interest in developing trade relations during the last few years. Last June Brazilian Brazil’s Dedini Industrias de Base constructed plant for producing ethanol.
