NCP in Western Equatoria urges voters to elect Bashir in April polls

February 5, 2010 (YAMBIO) – In a press statement aired by Yambio FM this week, the Chairperson of National Congress Party (NCP) in WES Awad Kisanga urged the entire citizenry of Western Equatoria elect President Bashir in April polls.
“All members of NCP and well-wishers in the state are earnestly requested to vote for the current President of the Republic of Sudan Omer Hassan Al-Bashir to his next term of office without prejudice,” said Kisanga.
The statement also called on the NCP members and all citizens to vote Salva Kiir as GOSS president without hesitation.
Unconfirmed reports have suggested that, the recent visit by Taha to Juba was to convince SPLM to drop its candidature in person of Yasir Arman, not to contest with President Bashir.
Awad added that NCP position in regard to the above stand can build on the understanding that, “the two partners are the key signatories to the Naivasha Peaces Agreement and are therefore responsible for the full implementation of the agreement.”
Kisanga further asserted that NCP still have a very important article ahead honor, “the referendum” and this will never become reality if [we] put these leaders aside who are now contesting and bring new team which may throw away articles on the referendum and even the whole agreement.”
He noted that based on this understanding and that the two have been playing the ball very well, “we should keep them at every cost.
He lamented that, for other positions and seats in the elections in the state, “NCP members are flexible as they don’t affect the very nature of the agreement.”
“Any competent, peace loving and suitable candidate who may stand NCP shall support him/ her without prejudice, it is hoped that our position is clear and affirmative,” Kisanga concluded.
Awad Kisanga is the head of NCP in Western Equatoria State, the National Congress Party Leadership in Khartoum nominated Kisanga as NCP flag bearer for the gubernatorial zone of Western Equatoria State.
Political Analysts in Western Equatoria say NCP has less chances of winning any political post in the upcoming elections.
NCP is set to contest legislative seat at State, GOSS and National levels in Western Equatoria State.
General Elections in Sudan are due next April, the elections are seen as Sudan’s first multiparty elections in 24 years.

For how long you want to work for Arabs and you don’t want Arabs to work for you? What is missing on your body or character? Why don’t you run for president of Sudan or of GOSS? Why Bashir? You look too old with Arabs mentality.
I think the answers are clear and common among even the ordinary citizen of southern Sudan in general. Because you are paid to cheat you own people to elect Bashir and because you are now Muslim you want Muslim to rule you. IDIOT

You should think twice before rushing to talked all those nonesene, what did the NIF/NCP does in you states all this years? Look at yours states building, road, schools, airport, and so many and many, and compared it with northern Sudan. So you can concludes that the southerners are lazy people. But one questions you should asked who built the northern? The southerners who built (Azandes and Shuluks) because they were always in the Arabs side rather to be in original place.
Last, the CPA state election as a part of it agreemens. so if it is like that What is the reasons for elections? The NCP trying to fool the SPLM by saying they don’t have their candidates for GOSS presidency fool your own Azande but not their entire southerners we know the NCP dramas, now they head to Ciaro gets another tactics and strategies from their Arabs masters to used for elections, because they are already failed (their whole strategies are failed) that why Ali Osman was in Juba last few days. Meanwhile DOG Akol and youself either failed to convinces about the truth that southerners don’t like them any more.
That was the same ideas Al-Turabi used for his party nominee, which he think that dinka tribes will fall for their own tribesmate and vote for him. That is OLD schoolthey touch US and we will never forget.

Dear Equatorians from Equatoria,
It will be a great shame upon you if you vote for Bashire rather then Yasir Arman.We have faced so many challenges from Khartoum government since the war broke out in 1983 up to date. I am very much sure about my people from Capital “D” ,mother of “B”;square that Bashire will never get a single vote and I can swear for that.
