Ugandan LRA rebels ransack, loot church in southern CAR

February 21, 2010 (RAFAI, CAR) – About 40 armed members of the Ugandan Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) led by their leader Joseph Kony, on Friday evening stormed a Catholic Church in the southern city of Rafai, 900 km of Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, a correspondent of a rural radio station has reported here.
According to the correspondent, the first elements of the regular army that arrived on the scene of the attack routed the rebels, who before running away, had turned the whole church upside down and taken about 30 people hostage.
“The army is still chasing the plunderers, who are believed to have withdrawn to Baroua, 147 km from Rafai,” the radio reported.
It is to be noted that those armed men were immediately recognized by the local people as “Tongo-Tongo” (referring to the LRA rebels) who had attacked on 11 February 2010, the CAR’s mining town of Nzako (south-east) taking many hostages.
The LRA, one of the most ruthless guerrilla movements in the world started its activities in 1988 in northern Uganda.
In 2005, the LRA had fled its traditional bases in Uganda to settle in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of Condo (DRC), near the border with the Central African Republic.

The above name is the killer. I don’t know why Uganda Rebels are sticking in Southern Sudan rather than going to her Country to fight with their government, it doesn’t make sense when the Rebels from other nation leave their Country to fight for their problem and then, go to attackes innocents people from Southern Sudan. This man he name himself as Joseph but what he was been doing is a sinful things in that LRA movement and I think God will punish him in time to come. Ugandans people have gain more a shameful from this man Joseph Kony like now he is looting Catholic Church in Southern Sudan and the recently killing in Western Equatoria, I don’t see any reason to him to name himself Joseph while he is a really evil man. Also this a shameful goes to the people of Acholi Tribe in Uganda and Alcholi in Southern Sudan too.

ICC has to bring the European mercenaries who have been training the LRA and giving them weapons to kill innocent civilians in congo and central african republic, this is the only way this issue can be resolved, if ICC overlooks those European mercenaries then there will be no justice from ICC and no one will trust in them, they will be considered as baised and only serving European interests.
Joseph Kony and the European blood money traders (merceneries and mining companies) have to face justice from ICC.
