The incumbent President Al-Bashir who campaigns for his reelection was addressing scholars and leaders of Islamic brotherhoods in Khartoum on Saturday. The issue of Sharia laws is presented as a theme against the SPLM candidate Yasir Arman who calls for its cancellation in order to maintain Sudan’s unity.

Presidential adviser Salah Gosh on Saturday in a speech made in Al Suki, Northern state, attacked opposition parties saying they agreed in Juba to abolish the Islamic laws. He also accused them of using the electoral campaign to advertise for a new secular state.

The NCP runner for Sudan president reaffirmed his commitment to the Islamic laws and the empowerment of the Islamic religion in the countr.; He further scoffed at the proposal of some political parties calling for the establishment of a secular, state and the abolition of the Public Order Act.

Bashir further called on the scholars, preachers and leaders of Sufi brotherhoods to maintaining the Islamic nation and religion by propagating Islam’s principles and precepts among Muslims.

He also commended the efforts of the late President Nimeiri who imposed a harsh and unpopular panel law in September 1983.

“Whatever we disagree with (Nimeiri) him politically, but we stress that he fought against the underworld and bars,” Bashir said about the former Sudanese president who applied the Islamic law for the first time since the independence in 1956.

Arman denied recently NCP allegations that he had called to open bars and houses of prostitution he also said that the ruling party is using religion in politics but not really apply it.

“What is happening now is the use of religion in politics, and that has affected Islam,” said Arman in a statement posted on his blog.

    Dear brothers and Sisters,

This ciminal Bashier will learned through militray strength because he is Islamic extremist like Amahdina Jahad( Iran president). We have to deal with Bashier in 2011 because he insisted supporting the issue of sharia law to more imposed in Sudan.Sharia law was in the problem of war in 1983. Watch out!. We are ready any time mr Omer because we have mote tollerant with you to have the same country with you due to this mother fucker sharia laws.

I encouraged each and every South Sudanese to read this article and give the best suggestion about CPA, whether we think Khartoum goverment will permit it or will test the capabilities of South Sudanese.

In fact, the implementation of CPA will depends on how hard South Sudanese works together so that they make the best choice in the up coming elections.

One of the ways that Omer Bashier government will dishonored this CPA like the way Jeffery Nimerie did is that if we South Sudanese elected Bashier to be the president of Sudan in 2010 election, then that will be true that we support the violation or dishonored our golden CPA and for sure , we will blame ourselves for uncertanity that we had invited. But if we South elected Yasir Arman, then it will be obvious that we secure part of CPA implementaions because Bashier dictatorship will no longer be in power. I believed that Bashier has been ignoring the CPA progress since the signing of it and that was the reason negotiation of keys issues pertening the CPA are in the deadlock till the present. We must vote him out because we have chanced in this CPA and Bashier governmnet can not dishonored the accord again like the one of 1972.

Second, Bashier goverment can violate the CPA when his agents are elected in the 2010,so that he can involved in some fraudulent. I supported my south Sudanese to vote out DR Lam Akol this upcoming election because he is the closest friend to Bashier who can thought of uncertainity in the fevor of Bashier Government since we all know that Dr Akol has been and still residing with the Khartoum government.

We must vote for Salva Kiir Mayardit regardless of some weakness and strengths in the South in this hard time/ 2010,and i think Bashier can not just involve his ill amd immoral sabotage with the South. Indeed, if we elected Dr Akol then we will regret for the problem that we invited which might involve the dishoring of CPA.

Yes, 2011 will be the test that Bashier governmnet will do because of the an disputable issues that awaiting South Sudanese. We South Sudanese need to avoid another violation this CPA by not electing leaders that will not walk hard to take us to the other side of river( after 2011). CPA is just an agreement, we have to know that in our mindset. Now, some Southeners argued that their stake is only 2011,but that can not happen because the CPA tied it and we should not hope for the best outcome before seeing the result of 2010 in the favor of South interest. Please brothers and sisters, let judge things beyond our eyes level so that Bashier Government can not violate the CPA due to our selfishness. Thanks

    Dear all,

No wonder that killer Bashir would use religion as his running mate in order to eliminate and handicapped Yasir from these Islamic criminals. Though Arman has no chance to wins over these criminals, Bashir would use this topic to his advantage in many occasions to come. I really don’t give a dime they can applied it to its fullest if they want it because come April 2011, South will be independent state and that’s no doubt in my mind.

Bashir and his cronies can bark in their desert and won’t affect us in the South. We would be strong and vibrate state under president Kiir & VP Riek.

It does not suprised me when he spoke like this, I do consider them as the same element whom are trying to distory every human minds and spirits of each of us. The same what he does was so similar with Salva Kiir had done week ago. Their words are same it looke like they have carying the same message to delivers to a all sudanese and to imposed the Slamic like what Nimire had done in eighties. I was so shock when our leader had say the same things like what omer has said it today, that mean they playing the same things only the people in sudan will shoose as well as Southern may shoose whether they want to allow to elect the Salva Kiir to use his key to slamize the people of south Sudan and as well the Persident doing the same thing to let whole country to work under sharia laws.

its we the people of south to whom will be the best persident of the people of sudan to shoose their leader not a betrayer leader.
