April 2, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — Members of the Messeriya tribes in South Kordofan state have today issued strong statement giving the United Nation Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) fifteen days to pull out its military personnel stationed at the extreme north of Abyei in Difra.
“We have only given fifteen days notice for UNMIS to withdraw its military personnel at Difra; there should be negotiation about it because UNMIS is becoming obstacle to our rights,” said Hassan Dudu, a leader of Messeriya section from Wad el Khamil.
The tribal leader accused the UN mission of impartiality saying “UNMIS is never fair to us as it has allowed government to pay no attention to our concerns being part of Abyei of administration;” Hassan said blaming signatures of the comprehensive peace agreement.
Before CPA, we were one and the same people but CPA came with all these mess and differences including attempt to demarcate our ancestral territorial boundaries, he stressed.
He said elders from both sides believe that Messeriya and Dinka of Abyei are one and the same people. “We have never been divided. Amir Deng Majok in reference to Abyei paramount chief Deng Kuol Arop, commonly known as Deng Majok, was one of our own and we were one of his own.”
Hassan who was speaking to Sudan Tribune from Muglad also said court system during Deng Majok and Babo Nimir era was one and the same.
This came following series of insecurity reports between Abyei and Muglad through Nyama claiming that armed members of Messeriya have decided to close all major roads leading to Abyei and beyond.
“They have placed lots of road blocks stopping and looting travelers including UN,” said Miyen Kuol, a local administrative officer in Abyei town council. He said reports about stoppage and stories of looting flooded their office in late March.
A convoy belonging to UN WPF was stopped at gun point and looted by armed groups along the general hinterland of Hussein Musa and Nyama on 25 March 2010.
Another incident involving armed men looting a WFP food convoy between Nyama and Timsah was reported to have taken place on 26 March 2010, just a day after the first report of stoppage and looting incident between Hussein Musa and Nyama.
Messeriya community has been held responsible for all the incidents as there have been no culprits apprehended and taken for questioning. However, on Monday 29, March 2010, two sections of the Meseriya tribes reportedly questioned Abyei deputy administrator, Rahama Abdul Rahaman who comes from the area and represents them in Abyei administration why developmental activities have been concentrated in Abyei.
The complaints seeking government attention to provision basic services includes building of health care units, schools, Agricultural facilities and roads to link Muglad and its surroundings with Abyei and other areas.

This is tricky move just two days after SPLM withdrawal. What is the rational of chasing UN out of Abyei, what has the UNMIS got to do with long suffering of the Messeriya and the Abyei community. UNMIS is just an observer mission and monitoring the effective implementation of the CPA.
This is a move for SAF to slowly arm themselves and the militia to cause confusion at the South North Boarder . With no legitimacy to the next coming election, Bashir is determined to do whatever it cost to destroy the CPA.

Hi listeners, I am realy in deep surprise when reading this article about messeriya complaint as they were not considered in developmental projects, this complaint can be seen genuine and realistics for they never talked for a development since then. If the Government of National Unity can handle this complaint then it will turn the whole area in colourful & peaceful area for the first time after Deng de Kuol Arop.
The looting of WFP and passengers is some thing normal in Sudan. some people are now being looted and even killed in their own houses leave alone travellers, no evident to show that this looting is on messeriya alone. If I were a president of Sudan to day I will handle this development complaint properly as these people never settled correctly for their ages, they are realy been down looked by the government.
My advise to Messeriya people if they could listen, is that talking and patient are key weapons for achieving your right to day. war never had been a solution since we have killed ourselves enough and no benefits at all.

This is just a joke. I don’t think that the Messeriya People of Deng Kuol Arop Biong can admonish the UNITED NATION MISSION IN SUDAN(UNMIS)to withdraw from the Northern territory of Abyei within fifteen days.
If this become as a reality later on, then Deng Alor, Edward Lino Wuor and Luka Biong Deng need to go and signed another agreement in the Hague Court. I said last time that the people of Dinka Jok of Ngok-Abyei will regret. The two tribes of Abyei namely ABIOOR and ACHUENG which were been included by the Late Deng Kuol Arop Biong to make a total of Nine sections of Dinka Jok of Abyei are the problem. Abioor and Achueng are the tribes within Arab community, but Deng Kuol Arop Biong brought these two communities up just because that they were salt sellers.
Now, what happened? These two communities are now become a problem because Deng Kuol Arop Biong accepted them just because of the salt which the sell to the Dinka Jok of Abyei. Instead of continuing selling salt to the Dinka Jok of Abyei, the said that Abyei belong to them. How can this problem be justified? I thank Almighty God that these tribes are not in Ruweng. After all, I thank the Paramount Chief of Dinka Ruweng Community of Biemnom because he didn’t accepted these useless community to assimiliated themselves with Dinka Ruweng of Biemnom(Abiemnom).
Deng Alor, Edward Lino Wuor and Luka Biong Deng pretended themselves last time that Toor Aliiny belong to Dinka Jok of Abyei in which Deng Alor denounced through his mouth that Heglig(TOOR Aliiny) is a part of Unity State. This is a big shame to Deng Alor, Edward Lino Wuor and Luka Biong Deng plus Benjamin Mijak Dau of Dinka Panaruu who assumed himself that Toor Aliiny is belong to Dinka Panaruu after the fall of Deng Alor from seizing Heglig(Toor Aliiny) of Dinka Ruweng Community of Biemnom. It was a useless thing when I heard Benjamin Mijak Dau defined Heglig(Toor Aliiny) as a “COIN”. Heglig is a name derived from Aliiny. Aliiny is an elder man from Dinka Ruweng of Biemnom. He is belong to MIJUAN CLAN. I believe that if I asked one of Dinka Jok of Abyei and one of Dinka Panaruu about Aliiny, I think no one will tell me who is Aliiny. But, these two communities so call Dinka Jok of Abyei and Dinka Panaruu are just attaching themselves just because of Oil in Heglig(Toor Aliiny). We Dinka Ruweng Community of Biemnom County, we don’t need oil, but we need our land Heglig(Toor Aliiny). It was really a big shame as I heard people of Panaruu calling themselves Ruweng while they were not been called Ruweng.
If I asked one of Nuer about the people whom the call “JAANG RUWEENG” and JAANG BILKUEI”, I believe they can tell. I’m sorry and sorry for this talk. This article is not concern to anyone, but for the people of Dinka Panaruu and Dinka Jok of Abyei who wants to seize Toor Aliiny of Dinka Ruweng Community of Biemnom County in Unity State. Nyankol Miathiang mentioned it in her song that Heglig is belong to Abyei and now it is not belong to Abyei anymore. Why did she become quiet? Shame on her too.

We have mess coming up because our leaders have hidden agenda in SPLM. The withdrwal of Arman is a big mistake that will take the whole country to War.We have No doubted about that.
Now, Messeriya warn un forces because Ncp declear a war to start bombing the South troop in the border because of the violation that SPLM made when they withdraw its candidate at the last minutes. Yes, there is amjor problem withing the SPLM because traitors like Riek Machar are having hidden agenda because they have the illussion that traitor Riek will lead the South, Haaaaaaaaaaa,but they will be like pushing mountaing killimanjoro with one thumb. 2010 election and referendum might be disaster indeed if Bashier take the presidency without Yasir Arman as achallenger.
SPLM made awrong decision to withdraw Arman in the race. This influnce came about from traitor Riek Machar who was bribe by NCP so that SPLM can withdraw from the race so that Bashier will take presidency without any problem.
Indeed, nothing critical thinking can come up when we have traitors around,and in fact they are Nuer in general.
We Nuer are good for everything and we are supporting Bashier and Dr Lam Akol. Let me add something that we Naath believe in food and wurnyang.ngundeeng for centuries as our true god in our land.
We make acoalition governmnet with Bashier in 1991 so that we can get our selve independent from Dinka who have been our presige leaders since the creation of Earth. After we make allaince with Arab governmnet, we agree with our respected president Bashier so that we can deployed our brave Nuer in the oil field in Bentiu to protect it from Dinka government who want to exploit our oil.
We deployed Matip Nhial to protect our oil from Dinka SPLM because that is the only thing that we can lived with,no other that can help us in this soil. We Nuer have been living for stealing and raiding cattle from Dinka for centuries,and in fact if we felt like we have nothing to eat, we go and raid civilians and take their cattle for our living so that we can wait for our crops to grow in our Nuer land.
Moreover, We Nuer value Arab more than the South because they have been giving as free food,and even they provide us free arms that can make us easy to go raiding and penetrate those Dinka who can resist our raiding. Yes, we Nuer knows that we can die but we value food than any thing and that is why we go raing the cattle because food is better than life.
Indeed, because we Nuer have shallow mind that can compete with South Sudanese, the only thing that we can do is to be nagative always and complained when the food is ready because we Nuer have no capacity to lead at all because we are the curse comunity as predicted by Ngundeeng and wurnyang.
Though we Nuer slaughtered Wurnyang when he gimmick as by giving as two identitical bulls, he kept one in the house and he led one bull killed and latter subsituted the dead with the alive bull and he said this bull is the bull that we killed before, as aresult, when we Nuer go to Dinka Bor land and every single dead Nuer will rose in his own house. In fact, because of the promise of Wurnyang, we just jump to the barrel of the guns and we all die while hopping that we will resurrect in our own house. None of us Nuer get up in houses therefore, we slaughtered Wurnyang and left with Ngundeeng.
We Nuer are sure that our only and educated man- Riek Machar Durgon will be the president of South for 50 years so that he can make it like the way Dinka and Equatorians led in the country/Sudan. We believed in Ngundeeng as our only servior,and no more than that because he promise as to have aleader in the near future and he told us that we are the only people who will lead the South till death.
Frankly, Dinka must know that we fight hard because of food and if they don,t provide us /Nuer enough food before April,then there will be no election as well as referendum because we desperately need somthing to eat. We Nuer are brave for the killing of innocents because those are the only people we can fight with. We Nuer knows that we are born empty and will die empty,but what can we do because our mind can not help us to undestand the positives of education. We are the curse community, we know about that but what can we do now.
We Naath we die after the very best two Nuer leaders; Dr Riek Machar and Agenlina Teny because if they die no any other leader can lead the south. We hope we Naath want every one to be uncivilian than attending education because we need more young youth to do the raiding and give food to the old and weak individual. Who does this stupid messeriya really think they are? there is a government in Sudan, there is an interim constitution and there is law and regulations which guide both north and south Sudan, there is also the Abyie ruling which gives every sides its obligations to abide by, UNMIS is in Sudan not to solve messeriya problem, they are here to guide the peace and do their work according to their mandate, messeriya can go to the NCP if they have any problem, they can go to the judiciary or local government, they do not have the right or mandate to give deadlines to the UN, only the government in north or south deals with the UN, a tribe wether in north or south does not have the power of legal mandate to order the UN or tell them what to do, if they have complains they should address it to the government and the gvoernmnet will talk to the UN.
Messeriya should respect the rule of the law and abide by conducts of all agreements, otherwise messeriya will get what they want if they start a war, they will be demolish if they attack anyone, they will only blame themselves for their outlaw behavior. this foolish meseriya.
