UDSF-Main Stream accuses SPLM of rigging elections
April 16, 2010 (JUBA) – The leader of the United Democratic Salvation Front (UDSF-Main Stream) has accused the SPLM of rigging elections and arresting many of his agents and supporters in a number of states.
The gubernatorial candidate for the position of governor in Upper Nile state, Gabriel Changson Chang, on Friday told Sudan Tribune that many of his party agents and supporters were either prevented from monitoring the polls or arrested in many counties in Upper Nile, Lakes and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states.
He said such irregularities in Upper Nile state occurred in the counties of Maiwut, Longechuk, Nasir, Falluj and Malbok areas.
Changson said in Longechuk county alone polling was interrupted in 38 stations through the directive of the county commissioner who confiscated more than 400 ballot papers and ticked all SPLM.
Changon also accused in particular, General James Hoth Mai, Chief of General Staff of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) of directing forces in Upper Nile to direct voters to vote for the SPLM during his visit to the state.
Earlier, the army’s spokesperson, Kuol Deim Kuol, denied any interferrence by the forces in the exercise of the elections.
Changson said the SPLM wanted to maintain power by not allowing free and fair conduct of the elections.

UDSF-Main Stream accuses SPLM of rigging elections
Dear readers,
The bias report and complian in the South has become a routine especially the one that came from Southern opposition parties and other agents of Omer El Bashier. I disagree with this candidate Gabriel Changson Chang on the way he accused James Hoth and other militray personnel like General Kuol Dim Kuol that they have directed the forces of SPLA. I believed now that many candidates are struggling on the way to get job rather than patriotism. This article is baising too like the rest of articles.
Thanks

This frequent report of intimidating the oppositions by SPLA/SPLM is becoming too much with the General kuol Deim word of ‘denial’ what will be the end now that the opposition are saying harassment and SPLA denied the report ?
