Senegal invites Sudan’s Bashir to a conference in June

May 11, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir received an invitation from his Senegalese counterpart Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal, to take part in the Africa Scientist conference hosted by Dakar next June, as well as the World Festival of Negro Art, which will be held in Senegal in December.

Bashir met yesterday with the Senegalese Minister of Culture Siren Modou Musso Lay, who told reporters afterwards that Sudan is a “friendly and very close to Senegal in all areas and is compatible with it in several positions both at the regional or international level”.

The Sudanese head of state who was recently re-elected in the April election is the first sitting head of state to be faced with an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC) crippling his ability to travel to countries that are members of the tribunal which has a legal obligation to arrest him.

Senegal was one of the earliest signatories of the Rome Statute depositing its instrument of ratification in 1999.

in 2008, Wade told Bashir during a phone conversation that he would not be able to offer him refuge if there is an arrest warrant for him and that at they are party to the ICC and they cannot “make an exception”.

However, Senegal later changed heart and lobbied along with Libya, Djibouti and the Comoros Island other African nations to withdraw from the court in response to the Bashir arrest warrant. However the proposal was turned down and no African state unsigned the ICC Statute.

Bashir has to attend this Negro Arts Festival,to be enlightened by the Sengalese culturely. Also he need to see by his own eyes, how the slavery ,destroys humanity, and how to encounter its impacts culturely in our societies.

Slavery and its atrocities is labelled the Sudanese People social cord,as first class citizens Arabs…the slavery masters…and the rest of the population who are Africans, subjected to be treated as slaves in all aspect of life in their own country, eversince.

The self-determination of South-Sudan will help to set a sector of the Sudanese-African people, realy free from the doom of the so called ARAB-JALLABAS’ Superemecy, and definitely will inspire the restive regions of Sudan to follow suit..

Northern Sudanese shouldn’t be attend this Negro Film Festival, because any Northern Sudanese never had been enslaved by so called European slave post.

In Sudan, some Kenyan tribes with some south sudanese are taken captive through Ft.Jesus/Mombasa to the West and there are some ancestory links in US Negro, but not with Darfuri, or Nubians blood in West.

Even though, DRC Congo, Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, and Somali Bantu ended in Western countries over Atlantic Slavery, but Northern Sudanese shouldn’t be worried about this Senegalese Goree Islands Atlantic slavery…

It is just a waisting a time for Darfuri and Nuibians.

Now Bashir is democratically elected with the full %90 support of his people from allover Sudan. I don’t see any excuse from him to skip any conference to represent his people and country. If after he is elected in free and fair election that is supported by International Community that includes Amercia; then this approves beyond doubt that he is a criminal.
In addition to that this will approve that he is not hot genuine Jaali tribesman who with his bravery can inters in a flame of fire and be burned for his cause. Haaaaaaaaaaaaa, ostrich.
