South Sudan President relieves constitutional executive post holders

By James Gatdet Dak

May 24, 2010 (JUBA) – The President of the Government of Southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has issued a presidential decree relieving all caretaker governors, ministers and commissioners of all the ten Southern Sudan states.

S_Kiir-2.jpgKiir issued the decree on Monday, pending formation of new government which begins this week at all levels.

The executive constitutional post holders, including in the state governments, were previously appointed by a presidential decree of the Government of Southern Sudan which also equally requires that the same body relieves them.

However, the formation of the next state governments shall now be the prerogative of the state governors without necessarily having to consult with the president or himself/herself having to issue decrees for appointments.
President Kiir is also expected to announce his new cabinet in Juba which is expected to be a broadened and inclusive government.

It is expected to put into consideration, among others, 25% of affirmative action for women as well as members from the other Southern Sudan political parties.

Also the cabinet of the Government of National Unity, in which Kiir is the First Vice President, is expected to be dissolved in the next few days, pending the swearing in of the President-elect, Omer Hassan Al-Bashir. Both Bashir and Kiir will consult to form the next cabinet in Khartoum.

    Mr King,

For someone who wise a person unluck, he will be the first to kissed the soil. For the person who always behind the battlefield will be the first to die than those in the front. For lazy who love to talk nonsense about SPLM will be the first enemy in the South. And for any person who think that Dinka will go away from the South or the whole Sudan is thinking of anightmare and he will be the ghost in the time to come. For any coward who think that complaining or fighting will help then, they are thinking of impossibilities in the South. Please, go with the follow other you will be the ghost in the South, period!
    Thanks

    Dear Readers,

Let me share with you the current situation in our country and what i think as a citizen of South Sudan. Our country is at critical stage due to Kiir’s weaknes. Kiir have failed to bring our people together .

he cause more division among citizens because he has violated their rights during April Election.

Now the Arabs have find the way to destroy the South Sudan through Kiir. If Kiir want to form the inclusive goverment he must first dismiss those who did not win the election include Unity state Governor Taban Deng who was defeated by popular Candidate Angelina Teny, and this is where we will talk about inclusive government.

Now Kiir turned blind after 21 years of struggle and he want take the people of South Sudan back to the war.

please kiir open your eye now the Arabs are at your door.

if your not serious now you will go back to Malakal Town where you washed the clothes for Arabs before you joined the SPLA

Iam sorry to say this but it is fact.
