President Kiir announced the imminent dissolution of the current caretaker cabinet during Friday’s Council of Ministers meeting. He thanked in advance any ministers who might not make it back to the new cabinet for their selfless sacrifices while in office.

Caretaker minister of Information and Broadcasting and spokesperson of the government, Paul Mayom Akech, in a press statement said an extra-ordinary Council of Ministers meeting, with participation of caretaker presidential advisors, will take place on Monday during which President Kiir may officially announce the dissolution.

It is also expected that a new government would be announced soon after the dissolution of the government.

Kiir also briefed the Council of Ministers on the recent talks he held in Khartoum with the President of the Republic, Omer Hassan Al-Bashir, about consultations on the formation of the next national government, which he said was not yet complete.

He also informed the meeting about the latest development on insecurity situation in Southern Sudan particularly in Jonglei and Unity states, following the post-elections violence with renegades, Gen. George Athor and Colonel Gatluak Gai, respectively.

We are still waiting to here about the reasons behind that rubbish agreement, designed to make us enter another round of being second class citizens in Sudan. Some one got to explain this so-called directive to rig referendum results.

    YES……YES,

Inclusive Government is the BEST, but make sure that the insecurity situations are also settled, Southern Sudanese are waiting now for great objection that is REFERENDOM for self-determination of our land; and this need a little bit freedom and secure enviroment.

2/disolving of Government sound very nice to those who will occupy some possitions in GoSS, but normal citizen are much concerned about the Referendom and their deterated situation in the respective areas. NEW Government may bring good security if RIGHT people are put in RIGHT places and opposit is true, if we keep bad people in right places. Those who shares, plans and creat insecurity to South Sudan may not return to served as ministers.

3/The paper signed by Deng Alor/SPLM and Salah Gosh/NCP may complicated the way to the Referendom instead of directing southerner to correct way despited the name they called it ” THE GENERAL DIRECTIVE FOR REFERNDOM”. this salah Gosh of NISS is too bad and very negative to signed the paper of the Southern Sudanese, it would be better if the agreement was signed by ALI TAHA, to reflect the national issue. Salah as we know he is supposed to deal with security issue nor national one. This paper must be read well by the southerner before its implemention.
