Sudan FM meets visiting Arab League’s delegation

KHARTOUM, May 2 (SUNA) — Foreign Minister Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail Sunday received at the premises of the Council of Ministers’ Secretariat General the visiting delegation of the Arab League and discussed the humanitarian situation in Darfur states.

The meeting also reviewed the role that can be played by the Arab League for enhancement of humanitarian situation and stability in Darfur.

Meanwhile, the Arab League’s delegation has praised the serious efforts of Sudan government to realize peace and stability in Darfur, stressing the keenness of the Arab League to support these efforts.
