Saudi Arabia King meets Sudanese President?
JEDDAH, May 2, 2004 (KUNA) — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received here Sunday Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Basheer.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments at the Arab, Islamic and international arenas particularly the Palestinian issue and the developments in Iraq.
Aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways of their enhancement were also reviewed.
Ambassador of Sudan here Othman Al-Dardiri told Kuna that Al-Basheer briefed King Fahd on the latest Sudanese developments and the peace talks with the Popular Movement for the liberation of Sudan.
The audience was attended by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of the Court of Cabinet’s Presidency and a number of senior officials.
Bashir who is visiting here met earlier with Crown Prince Abdallah bin Abdelaziz.
