He also told the new ministers and advisers he expected efficiency and results.

State MPs have endorsed the cabinet a day before the swearing in ceremony.

MPs have described the New Cabinet as “a seamless changeover” that would pave the way for the Bakosoro administration to plan a “golden five-year” of development in Western Equatoria State.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at Yambio freedom square, The Rite Honorable Speaker of WE State legislative Assembly Edward Bukulu, appealed for the unity of the people of WES irrespective of their political colors especially at what he called “crucial moment of referendum.”

The speaker further called upon the whole populations to” cooperate and be ready to fight LRA rebels to compliment what the new governor has put forward as his top security priority.”

Since 2005, Ugandan marauding rebels known for their brutal and vicious actions have continued to terrorize Western Equatoria, with a man-slaughter which has deteriorated of recent.

In his part, to tackle the only chronic problem in the state, Bakosoro urged the citizens to be ready and vigilant to face the growing threats of the notorious LRA rebels.

“In this new Government, we must, make sure we work towards the achievement of the major two components, that are, referendum and relative stability in the state.”

Col Bakosoro reiterated his position as the head of the state and the first priority in the agenda during his elections campaign, ready to mobilize and prepare the youth ready “as the LRA issue is going beyond control and more lives are being lost at different angles of the state, he said.

He also stressed much on the forth coming referendum due in early 2011, saying “there is no choice as for the past elections, one way, NO for UNITY and YES for SEPERATION, it’s time to find [our] own plots that is our independence.”

The Governor called upon the community leaders to campaign seriously about the referendum because this is the only battle remaining at hand to be achieved by all means.

Go for it Basokoro !! Clobber LRA in WES in deed if possible in the whole of Equatoria. An alliance with all other youths from Central and East Equatoria could be positive to cement the age long relationship of the people of that part of the globe.
