Sudan’s Bashir calls Gaddafi to protest ‘hostile moves’ by Darfur JEM

June 24, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir on Thursday phoned the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to protest “hostile moves” by the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) rebel group fighting in Darfur.

JEM leader Khalil Ibrahim has been stuck in Libya since May after Chadian authorities refused to let him enter the country, destroyed his passports and allowed him to go to Tripoli afterwards.

Chad has been a hub for JEM fighters and political officers through which they entered to their bases inside Darfur. However, a recent thaw in relations between Sudan and its Western neighbor created the unexpected situation for JEM.

Sudan has been pressing Libya hard to expel Ibrahim saying it will not contribute to ending war in Darfur. JEM withdrew from Doha talks in protest of what it called violations by Khartoum of their framework agreement signed and accused the Qataris and the mediation of being biased against them.

Libyan officials however ruled out any possibility of kicking out JEM chief citing “humanitarian reasons” stressing that Tripoli is mediating in the Darfur issue and therefore it will not surrender a figure who is a party to the crisis in Sudan’s western region.
In recent weeks, pro-government media appeared to be stepping up criticism of Libya signaling growing tension between the two countries.
Sudan state media said that Libyan leader in his conversation with Bashir “denounced any attempt to undermine the historic relations between the two countries, saying that Sudan is a sister country and Libya is keen to support its security”.

Gaddafi pledged to continue consultation with Sudan on all the issues that realize the security and stability at the region.

I do not understand what Bashir is bragging about? I hope he did not mention hand JEM leader over to me.

Bashir, you are the most wanted person because you are the main problem in Sudan. Without you ruling the country with an iron fist to put the majority of Sudan’s citizens at risk.

Do not forget your serious war crimes, and crime against human Mr. President. You needs to rationalize and think about how you will set yourself free from the charges brought on you. Your political career is coming to fall. You better hand yourself to ICC before they intercept you midair.

Gadhafi is an idiot like you, he is the head of AU, he should be more politically careful otherwise he will be human rights violation to arrest JEM leader who refused to enter to Chad. The Chadian authorities should explain well why they destroyed his passport in the first place.

They all rights to refuse him entry at their port no complain about that, but destroying his credential is a violation person’s right to have valid document to travel. I do not any possibility that Gadhafi will excute what Bashir said because Gadhafi is a commander in chief of his own country. He can not be given orders by criminals like Bashir. Let’s see what is Gadhafi going to say about this issue.

Mr Gaddafi is a none criminal leader who could not by law surrender a party leader to a criminal president whom the same rebel is fighting for his Darfur people rights. And also a president whom the arrest warrant is awaiting

Gaddafi has been ruling for years with the approval from Libyans people unlike a regime marked as a world criminal leader of Sudan.

Mr Bashire could have reviewed the historical records of what happened between Gaddafi and president Nimeri of (Sudan) with Dr John Garang in the earliest years of the SPLA/M. Mr Gaddafi helped and collaborated with Dr Garang to remove Nimeri when he acted badly on south Sudanese the true citizens of Sudan (Cush’s land).

Mr Gaddafi always collaborates with those who are fighting for the people rights such as Mr Khalil Ibrahim for JEM and Dr John Garang for the SPLM.

Mr Gaddafi, your Excellency with an acceptable experiences thank you!!

Thank All by Kuer Dau Apai University’s around the other part of the world.
