Sudan slams negative position from referendum campaign
July 11, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — A presidential adviser criticized the position of the opposition forces from the issue of 20011 referendum saying they do not join government efforts and campaign to preserve Sudan’s unity.
Mustafa Osman Ismail, who is also External Relations Officer in the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) criticized the position of opposition political parties towards the unity of Sudan, blaming them for not undertaking serious work in favor of the unity and visit the southern states to preach unity.
Osman who was speaking in a forum sponsored by the Arab League held in Khartoum about the “Challenges of unity and risks of separation” said the only visits paid by the opposition leader to southern Sudan aimed to plot against the ruling party.
The Sudanese government official was referring to a series of meetings in Juba held by the opposition leaders before April elections to coordinate their positions with the southern Sudan ruling party.
He further slammed the international community for failing to meet aid pledges to southern Sudan recovery and development.
International donors pledged some $4.5 billion for Sudan in 2005. They also pledged $4.8 billion during the second Oslo conference in May 2008 to support development efforts for the period 2008-2011.
Atem Garang, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and SPLM leading member, for his part said unity will not be attractive through “developmental bribery” but by sincere and hard work aiming to lay out new bases for Sudan’s unity.
The SPLM official said that democratic transformation in the country is one of the basics of unity. He further stressed that the unity faces several obstacles including the lack of national reconciliation, lack of uniform media policy to address issues of unity, and the tough atmosphere during which the provisions of the CPA are implemented.

Sudan slams negative position from referendum campaign
All must remember that in the coming referendum, according to ‘CPA’ there will be only two options: either unity or seperation. As southerners, we have already decided separation, no more ‘jalaba’ or any of their old tricks such as the falacy that there are more than two options. I call upon our SPLM leadership to reject any such jalaba tricks last minute attempt. Kush Independence woyee. Your reactions are welcome, [email protected]

The Idiot call himself Mustafa Osman Ismail.
The finger-pointing to opposition groups will not going to bring Sudan’s unity when your guilty of National Congress Party have rejected the steps when the SPLM asked them to make unity attarctive to Southern Sudanese. Your NCP have been spending more time trying to bribe Southerners politicians and Milita groups so that, they will undermine the peace agreement and instead of showing Southerners Sudanese people that, Old system should have been taken out, because it was the part of problems for why Southerners felt mad with dominators Northern Sudan, but Omar al Bashir as a dictator man had stick with those bad Ideas that make us to forgetten about the good name of Sudan nation and we will create any name as long the Arab agendas are not bothering us that is okay and I think unity is not acceptable the five years after peace agreement are enough experience and forgotten about Sudan’s unity.
Omar al Bashir after when he was been indicted and he was refused to respect the name of Sudan’s nation which show he is ruling Sudan Country by Military otherwise, he would have step down and let the people decide to show that, he is not ruling the Country by force but he never shown any sign at all. The whole National Congress Party were supporting Omar al Bashir and denying innocent civizens of Darfurian people dying up to this moment, on the othe hand also the NCP have been observed by Internationally with a lot of evidence that, Khartoum government was the one who armies Milita of Southern Sudan in order to killed each other as they did when we see these 2700 people dies in the last year alone. Is there any sign of Sudan’s unity if the government are trying to tear a part his own civizens for political game.
Eveyone knows that, Sudan government have spent hundred of million of dollars for bribery people assuming that, this is the tools they can use to turn down the right of others suffering civizen within Sudan nation. Well, people have been learing from the first movement when former president Jaa’far al Nimiery deceiving Southern Sudanese and now I belief the unity of Sudan is too late and the NCP should not making finger-point on those who were not in power.
The late Dr, John Garang when he gave the speech at Khartoum he said, after we have now sign the peace agreement, we want to go to Southern Sudan and starting building if we need Sudan to be the good nation and he also said, the problem of Darfuri must be solve now unfortunately, none of those mentions have not being done, Khartoum government is still sending his troops to kills Darfurian people because he don’t care since the Darfurian people are none Arab then, he can continues destablishizing the whole region. The question I have is that, who is to be blame of Southern Sudanese separation.? And the answer is ruler Omar al Bashir and his National Congress Party are they one who eventually sticking with the Old system which made people unhappy to move a way in 1983.
