With deepest sorrow and sincere sympathy, the Government of Southern Sudan Mission to the United States of America and the United Nations would like to express its condolences to the people of Southern Sudan and marginalized areas, family, relatives, and friends of late H. E. Dr. Samson Lukare Kwaje, who died on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, following a short illness.

H. E. Dr. Kwaje was a member of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement Political Bureau and Minster of Agriculture and Forestry for the Government of Southern Sudan at the time of his death. The passing away of H.E. Dr. Samson Kwaje is really heartbreaking news for the people of Southern Sudan especially at this critical time. He will be really missed and remembered by many of us who loved him. May God Almighty rest his soul in peace and comfort his family. May the blessings of His love and peace be upon his family and the people of Southern Sudan at large. May the essence of our Creator illuminate the GoSS Leadership, this is beyond control that we lost H.E. Dr. John Garang De Mabior at the beginning of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and now H.E. Dr. Samson Kwaje is no longer with us as Southern Sudan enters the brink of history. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of H.E. Dr. Kwaje as we are sharing the great grief. May God bless you and may He bless Southern Sudan and Sudan as a whole.
