Darfur aid worker released: Reuters

August 30, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – Reuters are reporting that a U.S. aid worker who was kidnapped while working for Samaritan’s Purse in Darfur over 100 days ago was released on Monday morning.

“She has been released this morning. She is in good health. Right now she is in the Wali’s (governor’s) residence in Nyala,” Sudanese foreign ministry spokesman Moawia Osman told Reuters.
