Fresh Sudanese army attacks in Darfur kill one hundred- rebels
October 1, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese army killed over one hundred people and burned four villages as result of bombing by Antonov military airplane in Jebel Marra in Darfur, rebels from the Sudan Liberation Movement said today.
Today, Sudanese army bombed and burned four villages in Jebel Marra, said Abed Rahman Nimir, military spokesperson of the rebel group led by Abdel Wahid Al-Nur. He further said that Friday attack killed 45 Scholl children and 55 civilians in Jawa most of them olden and women.
Nimir accused the Sudanese army of implementing ethnic cleansing in Darfur. He added that more than 7000 people fled their areas and now they are without water or shelter.
The rebel group appealed on the international community to intervene immediately to protect the citizens of Darfur and to provide them humanitarian assistance.
The Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) is not part of the peace process in Doha. The group says they want the return of IDPs to their homeland after receiving individual compensation and establishment of security.

However Sudanese army spokesperson denied the rebel claims of air attacks but he admitted that 17 rebels were killed in South Darfur from on Wednesday.

Sudanese government and rebel Liberation an d Justice Movement (LJM) are holding negotiations. The rebel accused recently the SPLM of delaying the referendum but he was quick to answer.

Its very sad for the UN/US to Mortgage the lives of innocent civilians in Darfur for South Sudan referandum for the Islamist in Khartoum. CPA is clear like holly books nothing is hidden and does not need any coxings for National Congress Party.
Referendum is a rights for people in the South to decide not begging any power on earth to give them that. So why International Community led by Obama adminstration allow the killing of such big numbers of innocent civilians without even ususal condemnation that we use to hear from them. UNAMID forces who are deployed to protect are reduced even not knowing where the killings took place.Its unfortunate to read on news stories that unnamed person from UNAMID said that they hear that there was fighting. What a shame???? I would like to tell UNAMID forces that if people of Darfur are finished today tomorrow you will be the next target to Khartoum regime to force you out of Sudan.

It’s very sad that the International Community is maintaining total silence to all these killings; so that the regime let South Sudan secede. Information on the ground had it that; the man in charge of the regime’s military operation in Darfur named Abdul Fattah Burhan was working to remobilize the Janjaweed militias especially a round Khor Ramla area and of western Darfur to launch attacks on civilians as part of regime’s new strategy on Darfur. However; the Janjaweed militias told Abdul Fattah that; they need some dues from the regime of their fighting for the regime in 2005 & 2006 and unless the regime pay them the money they will not fight again; thus Abdul Fattah took some Janjaweed leaders to Nyala in order to settle the issue of their debts with the regime .Furthermore; one thing I have learned from the ongoing genocide in Darfur is that; Some genocide and killings matter more than others, as today the world kept it’s mouth shut; as Darfurian facing grim conditions of humanitarian assistance denials by the regime in addition to attacks and bombardment, while eyes fixed on the referendum only. It’s very sad indeed.
