Sudanese president establishes committee for support of unity and referendum
November 7, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir announced the formation of a higher committee for the support of unity and referendum headed by him.
Bashir also appointed as members the head of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) Mohamed Osman Al-Mirghani, former president Abdul-Rahman Siwar Al-Dahab, presidential adviser Bona Malwal, former minister Mohamed Yousif Abdullah and Ibrahim Ghandour from the ruling National Congress Party (NCP).
Al-Bashir who met with leaders of political parties at his residence on Sunday announced that the committee will be composed of 11 sub-committees including one for national unity, committee for the records and referendum in northern states, the Commission for records and referendum in the southern states, Committee for coordination of popular initiatives, Committee for civil society organizations, Committee for media and mobilization, the Women’s Committee, Youth Committee, the Committee for Student Affairs and the financial and administrative committee.
Ghandour said afterwards that Bashir will name the heads of these committees at a later date.
The referendum is a key provision of the 2005 peace deal that ended the south’s 22-year civil war with the north, during which about two million people were killed in a conflict fuelled by religion, ethnicity, ideology and natural resources, including oil. It is widely expected that Southerners will vote to create their own state that is separate from the North.
The NCP has rejected demands by the Sudan people Liberation Movement (SPLM) to abrogate Islamic Sharia’a law in return for supporting unity.

Do Northerners Sudanese really know the meaning of UNITY they advocate every single day? I sincerely gust they don’t. From the look of things, North/South is currenly an impossible phenomenon under the so called ISLAMIC STATE built on ancient, classical and backward Islamic Laws. They genuinely need to know this fact. The UNITY of Sudan, based on regional, racial and religious imbalance is an unjust UNITY. The amecable solution to Sudan’s problems is pertitioning this failed State into two sovreign STATES.
The question is; how many times do Northern Sudanese want Southerners to show them that the true future of Sudan lies in the creation of two independent States? Well the truth of the matter is that the UNITY of the Sudan has become a relic of the past since 2005. However, as a positive counter to Bashir’s formation of the so called Committe for support of Unity, I ask SPLM to establish the Committe for support of SEPARATION to advocate for the SEPARATION of the South from the North.

I strongly and coherently warn President Salva Kiir Mayar not to join that committee. In fact, that committee is formed solely to opposs the work of the current Southern Sudan Referendum Commission. If Kiir wanted to get blame for the failing of Southern Sudan Self-determination Referendum Commission, then let him go a head. Folks, we must not allow ourselves once again to be wickedly fooled by hard-hearted scum of humanity Jallaba-Arabs.
Indeed, after having paused alittle bite to carefully examine those failed policies pursued by various regimes that have governed Sudan since it was incepted as a free independent political state in 1956, I have concluded that we can never be at our best doing it Jallaba-Arabs’ way.
Folks, we have had enough of their ancient, failed and never-going -to- change Sudan backstabbing snakish policies.
Finally and last, but not certainly the least, the law of the living and natural God revealed in the fullest belief that,” that righteouness exalteth a nation while a sin is a disgrace to any people”.
Therefore, I ardently urge the people of Southern Sudan to stop preaching down-market, diversionary and outdated primitive neolithic stone age period politics that have reduced us into the lowest common denominator in the scale of contemporary human beings. I have said this message many times before and Iam not going to desist say it until our people are fully united.
Finally, may almighty God creator of our magnificently great planet Earth bless the long-suffering, Peace-loving, and liberty-seeking people of Southern Sudan who have greatly suffered at the hands of various brutal, murderous and fatalistic Islamic Regimes that have come and gone in Khartoum and guided them into glorious promised land of freedom should the people of Southern Sudan voted for the separate country in the Upcoming Self-determination Referendum.
Folks, the former primer of Sudan al Sadiq al Mahdi had this to say in 1966 ,” The failure of Islam in the Southern Sudan would be the failure of Sudanese Muslims to the international Islamic cause. Islamic has a holy mission in Africa, and Southern Sudan is the beginning of that Mission”. This quote tell you every thing about the ruthless and failed policies pursued by various regimes that have come and gone in Khartoum. Secondly, this quote also tells us that the various regimes that have come and gone in Khartoum have pursued failed, regressive and backward policies of Arabization and Islamization of Non-Muslim population in Sudan.
In conclusion, the writer is the orphaned son of the late courageous Jungle-martyred freedom fighter who only hopes for a free, fair, transparent and meaningful conduct of the Upcoming Self-determination Referendum. I strongly advised President Salva Kiir not to join that newly-created Unity and Referendum committee headed by that hardened fugitive criminal President Omer Hassan El Bashir.
Indeed, if the rumors had it right, the work of that higher committee will be to hamper the work of South Sudan Referendum commission and I donot want President Kiir to be part of that higher decision-making body which is bent on destroying the political aspirations of the people of Southern Sudan.
Folks, this is another snakish underground tricking tactics employed by the National Congress Party to deprive us of our constitutionally enshrined rights of determining our long-cherished futuristic economic well-being, cultural development and political destiny in the Upcoming Self-determiantion Referendum. We must not buy into their odious, fabricated and lack no substance ideology of Somalization of Southern Sudan should we become an independent political state in the Upcoming Self-determination Referendum.
Folks, we must not at this time allow ourselves once again to be wickedly fooled by hard-hearted and natural- born philistine Jallaba-Arabs in Khartoum.
I have said it many times and I want to say it once again, let us stop preaching down-market, diversionary and outdated neolithic stone age period backstabbing politics that have reduced us into the lowest common denominator in the scale of contemporary human beings. Let us promote, encourage and emphasis our shared commonality and de-emphasis our long-standing political differences for the greater good of our ordinary people.
These demon-possessed and politically-inexperienced thugs are not going to easily give us our God-given rights on golden platter, but we must vigorously exert more pressures on the National Congress Party to give us our rights. Folks, Victor Hugo had it right when he said,” there is nothing more powerful in all this world than an idea whose time has come”.

Rumors if not ( Confirmed News) leaked out that President Salver kirr is already a Muslim, he has been seen in Kobar Masque in Khartoum, dabbed “Slaves Masque”along with Ali Osman Mohamed Taha ,the day of his Self- declaration as a Muslim.
Even Returnees here in Khartoum refused to voluntarily going back knowing that nothing going to happen as Separation. The daughter of Late Vice President Zubir Mohamed Salih is given to Mr. Kirr as part of the Deal.
So to conclude guys, let’s forget Separation, let’s see means to make UNITY useful for us and the coming Generation.
