Islamabad and Khartoum discuss sending Pakistani farmers to Sudan

December 4, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — Islamabad government is negotiating with Khartoum way to provide land and family visas to Pakistani farmers to enable them to farm in Sudan, Pakistan’s ministry of agriculture said this week.

The issue was discussed when Pakistani Federal minister for Food & Agriculture, Nazar M. Gondal received in his office Sudanese ambassador to Pakistan, Mohamed Omer Moussa at his office in Islamabad last Thursday.

“Our farmers are the most hardworking people on the globe. If they are provided with chunks of land and duly supported, they could prove to be extremely beneficial for both countries. The farmers will transfer their valuable farming experiences and help to promote best agricultural practices in Sudan,” said Gondal.

Ambassador Moussa praised the proposal adding that Sudan would cordially welcome to have Pakistani farming families and will ensure to facilitate and support them in all the possible ways.

“We really desire to benefit from your rich experience in agriculture sector. We already have Egyptian and Palestinian farming communities in Sudan and would be more than happy to have skilled Pakistani farmers” he said.

Sudan and Egypt agreed in September to encourage private companies to plant wheat in northern Sudan and settle Egyptian farmers there. The project had been agreed in the past by the two countries but the recent world grain crisis pushed the two countries to revive it.

The Pakistani minister said that the proposed plan to transfer Farming Families to Sudan will be included in the MoU, already under process, between Government of Sudan and Pakistan for Cooperation in the field of Agriculture.

As Sudan journeys to a South Sudan Referendum the people of South Sudan will always view Khartoum based government with suspicion in any decision they make. This decision here is dubious at this point of the time because these farmers who are coming to Sudan might be Jihadists to help Khartoum with the ill intention of attacking what the Muslim world claim to be South Sudan infidels. They brought Afghanistanist mujaheedin during the war time. We can not rule out the same thing can repeat.

This is an attempt to increase the number of light skinned muslims and Arab ethnic groups in Sudan, eventually, their children becomes ministers who are only patriotic towards Arabism and the middle East and not the Sudanese country. Example is Ghazi Salah al-Din al-Atabani (doesn’t resemble any indigenous person in Sudan ) whose parents are immigrants in Sudan.

The reality of “Inevitable” collapse of North Sudan Economic is now revealing because NCP is already selling out Northern farming land if not the importing Jihadist or Al-Qaeda to Sudan to wage war against Southerners.

To Hasan9, are you really proud that your government is bringing other nationals to farm for you? You are just another examples of stupidest northerners who no idea what to do after South Succession. We’re already gone but you have to find a way to do things by yourself but not selling out your country. For your information we still have right even after succession because we have our people who are still living in the North such as Blue Nile and Nuba Mountain.
There is no anyone even your doom prophet Mohammad who can deny the fact that you northerners are dumb “Lazy Asses people” who can not even provided themselves with simple basic human needs on this earth “The FOODS” with their hands.
You should thank God that, Southerners have been feeding you for the last Century with their “Sweats”, Natural Resources, lands, and list goes to heaven. You should make good use of the little resources that you have been exploited for almost century. Otherwise, your doom days are already knocking.

I can’t help to censor my words because moron Northerners like you.

NCP is collapsed already, and No doubt.
Bringing Arabs into the Black people land is unacceptable.
First of all, NCP need to resolved ,allocate and settle Darfurians’IDP in their respective areas where they used to be. I hope NCP regime will not use Internal Displace Persons[ IDP] their homes as Terrorist Training camp sponsored by Pakistani Taliban undercover for farming.
Just like Hamas operating a cross the North sudan in form of farmers!!!!!!!!!!! What is the last time Hamas and Hezzeballah know how to cultivate or know anything like Agriculture and technology?
