Unity State: Leer county women raise funds from small businesses
By Bonifacio Taban Kuich
December 21, 2010 (BENTIU) – More than thirty of women line up most days in Leer county market competing to sell fresh milk to people to earn money to support their families.
In 2005, the year the south signed a peace deal with north after decades of civil war, Sudan was ranked 147 in the Human Development Index, with 90% of the population of Southern Sudan living below poverty line, according to the African Development Bank=http://stul.netsolutions.cz/img/.emergency/x.pl#].
Despite the peace deal and efforts to develop the south, which will vote on independence from the north in January, remains one of the poorest parts of the world.

That is true, our mothers and fathers have been suffering since the Sudan gained independence in trying to raise their families with nothing in their hands but we will pray to them so that, God will give them Southern Sudan to try something differently than what Arab does to our people.
We want to tell those people who are still supporting violents within our communities in all Southern Sudan a cross to stop killing each other and let us faces our main problems for why Southern Sudan have been under development for 50 years. It is very hard when mother and father are all none education just they depending on small crops and animals to feed on which have even brought more problems in themselves, we need to change that after independence of Southern Sudan so both mother and father must have school to supports their family.
