North Sudan asks for land to build embassy in south

February 17, 2011 (KHARTOUM) – Sudan’s President Omar Al-Bashir has asked the soon-to-be independent region ofSsouth Sudan to allocate a plot of land for building North Sudan embassy in the South.

Sudan President Omar Al-Bashir

Sources quoted by the UAE-based Al-Bayan newspaper said that the Government of South Sudan had agreed to the request put forward by President Al-Bashir to earmark a location in Juba for building the embassy.

North and South Sudan fought nearly half a century of intermittent civil wars until they signed the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement which gave the South the right to self-determination.

South Sudan voted overwhelmingly for secession from the North in a referendum last month. The region’s full independence will be formalized in July this year.

However, the two halves are still negotiating a set of post-independence arrangements, including oil revenues, currency, citizenship, international agreements and the status of the hotly contested border area of Abyei.

The first Country I would have a free land to build their future Embassy on is-Ethiopia, a country equals to no country in East Africa in term of given her unconditional supports of the Southerners (especially Eastern Jikany Nuer)dating back to the war of resistance against the British invasion.

The only other two I would recommend to follow after Ethiopia are Kenya and Uganda also to some extent the Congo.

Accepting the request without allocating where to build the current capital of SOUTH SUDAN is illogical.Hence Juba was just an interim capital for South Sudan. Ramchiel was the best option for the current capital of South Sudan because it annexed the states of South Sudan.

That is not bad for Khartoum government
to have their embassy in the South.
The same sing also can apply to the South to have their embassy in the North, because after all we just want all the past grieviences to be forgoten and new page of development should emerge.

Yes, the North Sudan could have their Embassy in South Sudan but not now until we finish our business with them.

The Abyei and Darfur problems might risk our relationship. If the North needs to be a good partner, they have to clear their bad credit first. Especially from the black list of Terrorist and Human Right Watch’s list

In other hand, SPLM/A was born in Sudan and grown up in Ethiopia. Where by Kenyan, Ugandan, U.S cured his wound. So we shall see who is going to test the sweetness of our Nation first!

For those who are still using Ngundeng ideologies, please be inform! Ngundeng had shameful things to be said about him. First,

He was not a Prophet but a profit to his royalist in Nuer.
He had many names according to his activities in many parts of South Sudan.
He was a Cannibal animal according to Nuer man who doesn’t need to be mentioned
His first name was Ngundeng-meaning that he was send by God.
After he gone wild and ran away.
His name changed to be Gatluakmanguel in Nuer dialect.
He ate many Nuer men and women in Nuer Land
Dinka. His name was Manyang e Juet.
He ate many children, animal claviers and cows’s bulls in Dinka Land.
Equatoria with different languages including English and Arabic
    His name was Tiger

The Nuer man who refused to be target by Ngundeng’s salves pointed out that. Ngundeng had no father or mother but the Devil who came out in the River Nile in a form of fish, when the Nuer boys want for fishing. They fish for so many hours and they caught nothing, when the boys get tied and ready to go back home. One of them told other guys that there was a fish ate his hook lastly, the boy convinced other friends to tried one more time! Shortly after he putted on snail body on the hook, he had thrown it into Nile River. Immediately, Ngundeng was caught. The boy was attempting to pull the Fish Ngundeng out in the river but it was difficult for him to do so, then he called his associates to pull Ngundeng on the shore. They brought it out and they were smile some of them were told to go and collect firewood in order for the young men to roast their fish.

Unfortunately! The Fish Ngundeng changed into big snake! And the boys ran away from it, the boys thought that they were dreaming and they came back for the second times. The Snake Ngundeng light it body and become bright as well as electricity light. They ran home and they spread the news to the community, when the Nuer elders came to the place where Ngundeng was pulled. It was still there as snake with it light. People gather together around it and started asking question how did this happen? The Snake Ngundeng changed into human being and told people not to run away. All of them were shocking and scary to death except Human Ngundeng who perform such witchcraft. things “Come down, come down now!” The Human Ngundeng said. Who are you? The Nuer elders asked him. I am Nyajok_ which mean woman devil! The Human Ngundeng answer! She knew her own physical appearance as she is a hermaphrodite. (A person with both the organs of a man and a woman) Wow! Brothers and sisters of Nuer I am sorry for your Profit. Nyajok Ngundeng was not a Prohet? It was your profit to cheat people for his power but It was not a Prophet? It was a Satan?

I don’t know dear readers if one among you read a book entitled the Arab mind. The NCP request to build Embassy exactly reflects the narrow thinking of the entire Arab ethnic group around the world. Its not a racism, its not a hatered but these are historical facts. Arabs owned Spain, due their arrogancy and their ethno-centrism they lost it and asked for embassies. There are many examples apart from these mentioned. They owned entire South Sudan land including the people today they are asking for two kilo meters to build a house for North Sudan. I quess they loose the rest of the remaining part and be given five kilometers. One in Darfur, one in South Sudan, one in blue Nile another one in Nuba Mountains and in Eastern Sudan. Funny people, funny minds live with them.

ha,ha,ha,oyee! asking a piece of land in the mid of night before dawn of a day by Mr.Bashir has a hundred of defintions.
welcome Bashir but you will find the Israeli Embassy next to your plot in good conditions okay?
the first and foremost countries to be alloted a land before you are:-
    1. Israel: who stood and nurtured our veterans like Joseph Lagu after Torit mutiny will be the first.
    2. Ethiopia: who helped us during our pregnacy will be the second .
    3. Eriteria: who helped during our child birth by trainings, weapons, participating with us in several fronts like NSB.
Kenya and Uganda for hosting us and backing us through thick and thin.
USA who is and was our general practictioner doctor from all walks of life is having a piece of vast territory of land including its University of Iowa University which sponsored our senior officers including our Heroic, visionary and peacemaker Dr. John Garang without whom this request of Bashir would not have been a reality.
Has any of us dreamt before that King Bashir would even ask something from us when he was shaping this country in to deformity like pottery work ?
History is getting richer and richer but faster and faster.
Norway who stood side by side with us in our hot up and down hit or miss will be given a land for its friendly embassy.
our Presidnet Joshua Salva Kiir cannot and will never eat his words he said that the Republic of South Sudan has no enemy in the world. we southerners we are free like African dogs because no country is our enemy unless any country tries to subvert our sovereignity and interest thus the boiling point of water will reach the maximum and this and that will be caugtht red handed by us.
we are fearless with aggressors but fearful with allies.

Big oil trouble brewing in South Sudan

    * Analysis by: Michael Lynch

The state of South Sudan that will become the world’s newest nation in July will not share its oil wealth with North Sudan. The secretary general of the Sudan People Liberation Movement, Pagan Amum, told reporters that “the notion of sharing wealth will not be there.” The South will only pay a fee for the use of the pipeline to Port Sudan. North Sudan is currently in economic crisis with soaring inflation and shortages of hard currency. Officials in the North say they can find new oil fields.

The above is an extract from an article from Ridder/Tribune Business news as reported by the Rigzone Newsletter of February 18. This is a classic case of confrontation between the haves and the have nots. The powder keg in all this is that the Northerners (the have nots) control the only pipeline to deep water. The South (the haves), controlling most of the oil production are asking for trouble. The question is whether or not the Asian owners of the concessions can bring wisdom to this debacle. It is a certainty that they want to keep the oil flowing (all 500,000 bbl/day of it). Greater NIle Petroleum Operating Company, a consortium led by China National whose partners are Petronas, Sudapet, Nigeria Express Petroleum and the Sudanese firm High Tech Group, control a good portion of the oil production and they will use every diplomatic trick in their portfolios to keep the situation from becoming explosive. China National also operates a 100,000 bbl/day refinery in Khartoum which is important for both North and South. Still most of the crude oil that arrives at Port Sudan comes from the South and goes to China, India and Malaysia. China and India consider Sudanese oil to be strategic for their future development. They won’t take kindly to a disruption. The history of Sudan since the long civil war began in 1985 is far from encouraging. Will the two states find common ground? Will the region lapse back into civil war? If 500,000 bbl/day of crude is removed from the international system in July, today’s $100/bbl Brent Blend will look cheap.
