TEXT: Draft of Darfur peace agreement negotiated in Doha

May 1,2011 (KHARTOUM) — Attached is the draft peace agreement handed on 27 April by the mediation in Doha to the Sudanese parties participating in the Doha peace process: Government of Sudan (GOS), Justice and Equality Movement (JEM)and Liberation and Equality Movement (LJM). The parties have to give their response , before the 7 May. However GOS and JEM started direct talks over a number of issues as, the Human Rights, Darfur administrative status, security arrangements, and individual compensations. The mediation also prepares a general conference for Darfur stakeholders to take place on 18-23 May.
