May 19, 2011 (ABYEI) – Local authorities in the oil producing region of Abyei on Thursday issued strong orders, vowing to enforce the directives of the Chief Administrator by arresting any person engaged in acts of violence during the visit of a UN Security Council delegation on 23 May, regardless of their political affiliation.
Minister of finance in the Abyei administration, Acuil Akol Miyen, said in an interview with Sudan Tribune, “We expect people to demonstrate respect and responsible behaviour to the guests”.
He warned that the police will “arrest any person who may attempt to incite or participate in any acts of violence, regardless of his or her affiliation with any of the political parties or organizations”.
The official said the delegation was coming to the area for “first-hand information” on the situation in Abyei, rather than “depending on media reports and statements from third parties.”
They will meet chief administrator, executive members, members of local council, UN Mission in Sudan, and members of civil society organisations and faith based groups.
“It is because of the sensitivity of the visit that I would like to urge all stakeholders, political parties, civil society and other interest groups to work closely with the police to remain calm during the visit”, said Miyen.
He explained that the police “will work with all involved, including the media, the church, civil society and other organizations, to ensure that meetings are peaceful”.

How can you say that when your coward SPLA attacked the SAF and UNAMIS while they were leaving Abyei today. Try and get this through your thick skull ! Abyei is part of north sudan and has been for the last 105 years. Dinka like it or not will have to agree with the Messeriya on land sharing and oil sharing. If the GOSS or the SPLA dare do anything the world is watching and no one will blame the north when they blow your stinch of a country to hell !
Why dont you try stop the killing of each other from cattle restling, tribal violence and greedy fat government corruption before talking about war with the north again. No one is daring to invest in the South because they know of your ignorant and primitive behaviour. You cant be trusted with they gave you – you expect them to do what. All the americans and evangelicals want is to turn some primitive peoples to christianity and steal as much as they can from. This will continue but now its with the help of you own impotent government.
The North stop selling you food for a few days and look your government is already begging for handouts. Do not mess with the north unless you want to be another Somalia. The US rep. said it yesterday – Sudan is the most important country in africa for us right now. Not the South – it is and will continue to be a burden for the international community.

I am not startled by your statement that Abyei is part of Northern Sudan in what seems to be fear of war. However, Abyei must be brought back to its original geographical location through peaceful means or blood. Therefore, you cowards have to understand it that war is coming and may not affect you like the previous wars which were fought by Dinkas alone without you. It is upto you to decide whether to contribute or remain handfolded as usual but, we are not going to relinguish our stand on Abyei regardless of your shievering and repercussions.
If I had known where you belongs, I would approach you in length and details.

Maybe it is because my English is not as good as yours but I went to the link you provided and nowhere could I find what you claim. There was no mention of the Special Envoy saying that Abeyei is part of the North.
Maybe you will be able to cut and paste it on here seeing you are an expert at that but remember to quote where it came so readers can check that it a copy of the real article.
