All the political parties, including the ruling party, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), which was previously registered in Khartoum before the country split in July this year, are required by the would-be law to register afresh in South Sudan.

The minister of Justice, John LukJok, on Wednesday presented the draft bill during a one day conference of the parties

James Okuk always write articles that incite South Sudanese base on tribal lines, he must be stopped from writing such materials. We need national unity and not dividing people on tribal line and allegiance

Assuming that you are right to say that some of Okuk’s articles are tribally instigative in a way, what then do you make of this friend of yours who is All-Out tribalistic by branding himself “the Dinka Dominated SPLM”?

Tribal politics tend to blind and that is what is on this website and most of the RSS Media, but then what goes around, comes around.

Its good to have laws govern these parties because some of them lack requirement to become parties. I don’t support detention of persons without strong reason unless the constitution defined what spoken words should lead to, criticism in Democratic society is part of good governance, and I don’t think the SPLM led government will continue in that policies of arresting if its need democracy.
