Sudan Tribune launches petition for release of journalist

November 6, 2011 (KHARTOUM) – Sudan Tribune on Sunday released an online petition for the release of its journalist, Ngor Garang who has been detained since Wednesday over an article critcising South Sudan’s president in a newspaper he edits in Juba.

    The South Sudan is now heading to its own spring so quickly. My problem is the so called security organs. They don’t think that we can also own guns and shower them with hell of bullets. They have watched the strong man Gaddafi even with his golden pistol. If they want to take us back to war, ok we shall see. My petition is: release all prisoners of opinion, or else we will start a justified revol
