November 24, 2011 (ADDIS ABABA) – US former President, George W. Bush, will visit Ethiopia in December, in a tour to three African countries, the US Embassy in Addis Ababa announced on Thursday.

Bush and his wife, Laura Bush, are expected to visit in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia from 1-5 December during which the couple are expected to celebrate the remarkable progress made over the past decade in addressing the challenges of disease, poverty and security in Africa.

“The trip demonstrates President and Mrs Bush’s continued commitment to the people of Africa through the work of the George W. Bush Institute’s (GWBI) Global Health programme,” explained a statement issued by the George W. Bush Presidential Centre.

The tour will also highlight the Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon initiative; an innovative partnership between GWBI, the US Department of State President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR), Susan Komen for the Cure, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids (Unaids) and other private partners.

During their visit in Africa, Mr. and Mrs. Bush are expected to emphasize the importance of the continued fight against HIV/AIDS, malaria and other preventable diseases.

In 2001, President Bush announced the commitment of his administration to fighting the spread of preventable disease in Africa.

Now ten years on, a total of 6.6 million people in developing countries, among whom 4.7 million are in Africa, receive life saving anti-retroviral medication through PEPFAR, the Global Fund and the international community.

While in office, President and Mrs. Bush travelled to Africa in 2003 and 2008 and Mrs. Bush travelled seperately there in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

I have a great respect for incremental improvement made by President But, and I’ve done that sort of thing in my life, but I’ve always been attracted to the more revolutionary changes. I don’t know why. Because they’re harder. They’re much more stressful emotionally. And you usually go through a period where everybody tells you that you’ve completely failed. we southrese are to respect Bush.

President George W. Bush is the greatest American president to come along for Africa in a long time. He did not treat Africa like a charity case but a Continent worthy of help to realize its potential. He did more to fight HIV/AIDs and Malaria than all previous administrations. As an icing on the cake, he secured peace in Sudan. It is his signature success in Africa in terms of peace. Welcome Sir.

If president was still on leading, Omar al Bashir would have been caught like a rat in the hol. This is the best leader of which I would favor most on earth. The free world leader should liberate people from the dictaor but this silence to let Omar al Bashir continues killing innocents in the Sudan make Sudanese people has not only remain question, we thinks about our good friend president Bush

Bravo, George W. Bush, I wish you come back to office. The American people have chose to elect our brother Obama who turned his back on Africa and American people. While Obama is busy playing gulf in Hawaii. During your term in the office, you did a lot for Africa as if you are an African, but this prove that you still one of the i con in the white house even if you’re no longer in the office.

There is no point for Mr.Bush to visit South Sudan. The government of South Sudan is a “dead government” If I get an atomic bomb, I should first of all bombed South Sudan, and then later the North Sudan.

Mr. Father of Heaven and Earth,

Be quiet my dear. In my whole live since I joined the movement, I had never dream of rebelling. But, since most of the Southern Sudanese put rebel in their finger tip as a super-tool, I decided that getting an atomic bomb to bomb the South Sudan will be the only solution that will eradicate all my grievances which I have in my heart. I am tried of this movement.
