Diaspora SPLM youth league gear for chapter chairperson campaign

March 27, 2012 (RUMBEK) – The South Sudan ruling party, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) is targeting to reorganize it political party activities by reorganizing the youth in it political agenda. The SPLM party created youth league in 2000 as the bridge connecting youth leaders and the party leadership.

The present leader for SPLM youth League in South Sudan is Akol Paul Kordit who is now present under heavy criticism from various youth organization leaders for having not done enough to enlighten youth about the movement activities.

South Sudanese youth in Diaspora open their doors to campaign for being elected into the office of chapters across the Diaspora. Several campaigns for chapter chairperson begin in Australia is being contested by 10 candidates seeking for the same post.

Daniel Mabeny Bai, the candidate in Australia arena presented he manifesto title “An Eye and Guide for SPLM chapter” say he will served the movement youth with dream to protect the youth right in all form and to preach for peace across the Diaspora and home.

Mabeny had graduated in 2010 with qualification for Bachelor of social science in the University of Western Sydney. He served in various youth leadership in Kenya and home as well in school youth association. He served as Deputy Secretary for Information for Southern Sudan in 2006 with number of title he hosted in his life of being refugee in Kakuma camp.

“As you are aware of whom I am, I have a vision, determination and commitments to save youth interest the South Sudan expectation in leadership of youth” said Mabeny. The democracy and to respect all core value for being South Sudanese must be my first aim to achieved despite tribalism to be put to an end “he promise.

“I pledge to promote peaceful coexistence among SPLM and none SPLM supporters and the people of the Republic of South Sudan at large” he stated on phone interview.
