Iranian foreign minister to visit Sudan Thursday

KHARTOUM, July 14, 2004 (SUNA) — Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Kamal Kharazi, who is due to arrive in Sudan Thursday evening, would conduct talks with Foreign Minister Dr. Mustsfa Osman Ismail.

The talks are to review the developed bilateral relations and the regional and international issues of mutual concern.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that this visit has special importance as it comes in the framework of the preparation for the visit of the Iranian President, Sayed Mohamed Khatmi, to Sudan in October.

The three-day visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister, heading a high-level delegation, comes at the invitation of Dr. Ismail.
