S. Sudan national security recruiting new officers

April 8, 2014 (JUBA) – The South Sudanese national security ministry has embarked on the process of recruiting new cadres and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) into its ranks. The announcement was made in a circular the ministry circular issued on Monday. “Those persons interested in applying either for officers cadets or NCOs and men are kindly requested to apply through the state security department’s offices in their respective state capital,” partly read the 7 April circular, which cites all the country’s 10 state capitals. The national security ministry stated that all applications for those seeking employment with national security would be taken with “strictest confidence.” It, however, advised those intending to apply for positions not to publicly discuss the matter with anybody.
