Western Equatoria caretaker governor appoints new cabinet ministers
September 27, 2015 (JUBA) – The new caretaker governor of Western Equatoria state, Patrick Raphael Zamoi, has issued a gubernatorial order, relieving and appointing new cabinet ministers.
Governor Raphael, according to the order obtained by Sudan Tribune, sacked the entire cabinet appointed by his predecessor, Joseph Bangasi Bakosoro, and appointed new members.
The order dated 26 September, appoints Bullen Abiataraj Hakim as the deputy governor. Hakim replaced Sapana A. Abuyi.
Other key officials who have been affected by the new changes include information minister, Charles Barnaba Kisanga. He has been replaced with Daniel Esbon Zingifuaboro as the new minister of information and communications.
Clement Juma Mbugoniwia, minister of physical infrastructure and public utilities has been replaced with two ministers after the ministry has been split and restructured into the ministry of roads and bridges and ministry of housing, electricity and water.
Rajab Simon Mohandis is the new minister of roads and bridges and Jaqcilia Salatihiel Ebere is the minister of housing, electricity and water.
Several other officials, including advisers and county commissioners were affected with new faces taking over from predecessors.
