Governor Rizik Relieves Wau county commissioner, town mayor
October 17, 2015 (WAU) – In a decree number 11/2015 issued on Thursday evening, South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal state governor, Rizik Zechariah Hassan, has relieved Elia Kamilio Dimo from the post of Wau county commissioner and Livio Gelego Bahara from the post of mayor for Wau town.
He has also issued a similar decree number 12/2015 on Thursday appointing Anthony Fada Ubur as new commissioner of Wau county while Elia Kamilio Dimo as mayor of Wau town municipal council.
The governor said he acted in accordance with the powers conferred upon him under chapter II article (1) & (2) of the Traditional constitution of Western Bahr el Ghazal state. The decrees come into effect from 15 October 2015.
No reason mentioned about the relief in the decree.
