SPLM-N condemns deadly terror attack in Paris
November 14, 2015 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North (SPLM-N) condemned the deadly mass terrorist attacks in the French capital Paris on Friday night.
During a series of attacks across the French capital on Friday evening at least 128 people have died in different areas of Paris.
The attacks which were directed against civilians came while the Sudanese opposition leaders and rights activists were holding a meeting outside Paris to discuss issues of peace and democracy in the east African nation.
“We extend our condolences to the families of the innocent victims of the Paris terrorist attack,” said a statement issued by the SPLM-N from the French capital on Saturday morning.
“We express our deep sympathy for the people of France, and we stand with the French government against terrorism. Together we will work for a peaceful world that will accommodate all of us and our diversity,” the statement further said.
The SPLM-N further pointed an accusing finger to the Sudanese government saying it “is still sponsoring terrorist organizations, such as in Libya and Central Africa”. and renewed its “full solidarity with the French people and government, as we have suffered ourselves from terrorism and crimes against humanity”.
The terror attacks, which were directed against civilians targets in the French capital like the Bataclan theatre where over 82 people killed, were unanimously condemned by the international community.
