Elia Kamilo Dimo, Wau town mayor; also told the press that there were still rebels abducting people at night in Wau town.

“This is a member of the rebels who are disturbing and creating insecurity in Wau town but now our forces in Bagari Jedid have arrested [him] yesterday entering his house at night and in his hand are some items that they are looted from the hands of people along Boo and Bazia,” he said.

He said the arrest of the rebel member was confirming that the anti-government members were responsible for causing insecurity in the town.
