Belarusian president of to visit Sudan in early January
December 22, 2015 (KHARTOUM) – President of Belorussia Alexander Lukashenko will visit Sudan in early January, announced the Sudanese foreign ministry , Tuesday.
Foreign minister Ibrahim Ghandour Tuesday discussed arrangements for the visit with Belarusian ambassador to Sudan , resident in Cairo, Serge Ratchcov.
The two sides have also discussed the progress of bilateral relations in the light of the outcome of the meetings of the committee for political consultation between the two countries that met in Belorussia in August.
The meeting has also reviewed the activation of joint cooperation.
Ghandour has also held separate talks with the ambassadors of the Philippines and Thailand, resident in Cairo .
The three ambassadors had presented their letters of credence to President Bashir Monday , as ambassadors plenipotentiary, resident Cairo.
Ghandour and the ambassadors had discussed the bilateral relations and means of advancing them further.
The minister has also explained the political developments in Sudan and the progress of the ongoing national dialogue to the three diplomats.
