The message was handed by the Chadian Minister of public security and Immigration, Moussa Abderahmane, at the guesthouse Friday night in the presence of Minister of Agriculture and Forests and Chairman of the government’s delegation to negotiations, Dr. Magzoub Al-Khalifa.

The Chadian Minister said to SUNA that his visit to Sudan comes as part of the efforts to unify points of views regarding issues of the African continent, explaining that President Al-Bashir assured him that the talks of Abuja would be successful if the negotiators go to the talks with a national willpower.

Answering a question from SUNA on guarantees for success of Abuja talks, the Chadian Minister explained that the determination of the African Union is the only guarantee for success of Abuja talks, adding that hopes are high with the determination and credibility of the two sides.

The Chadian Minister further affirmed the necessity of the African solution to the issue of Darfur, saying that any intervention from outside the African continent would not be welcomed.
