Sudanese opposition NDA radio observed on shortwave
LONDON, Aug 25, 2004 (BBC Monitoring Service) — BBC Monitoring has observed clandestine radio Voice of Sudan broadcasting on 7999.3 kHz shortwave at 1530-1600 gmt on 25 August.
The radio station speaks on behalf of the Sudanese opposition grouping, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). It has been on the air intermittently since 1995, from a transmitter believed to be in neighbouring Eritrea.
