Ethiopian premier arrives in Sudan for talks on bilateral ?relations
OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso, Sep 9, 2004 (SUNA) — Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi arrives in Khartoum Thursday evening on an official two-day visit to Sudan during which he will hold talks with President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and the political leadership on bilateral relations and means of boosting them further besides the issue of Darfur.
Sudan Ambassador to Ethiopia Osman Al-Sayed said in a statement to SUNA on the sidelines of the African Union Summit here that Sudan and Ethiopia are linked by close and distinguished relations, calling for boosting further the cooperation between the two countries in the economic, social and cultural fields.
Ambassador Al-Sayed said the joint ministerial committee between the two countries will be convened in Khartoum in the second half of current September
