Cabinet reshuffle to “take place soon” in Sudan
KHARTOUM, Sept 12, 2004 (MENA) — A wide-scale cabinet reshuffle will take place soon in Sudan, according to reliable Sudanese sources on Sunday.
Speaking to MENA, the sources said the names of the nominees were submitted to the ruling National Congress Party’s Shura Council for endorsement.
Among the ministers to retain their posts were Energy and Mining Minister Awad Ahmed Jaz, Foreign Minister Mustafa Uthman Isma’il and Finance Minister Zubair Ahmed Hasan.
The amendment is expected to include some provinces’ governors
