Sudanese president receives credentials of new French ambassador
KHARTOUM, Sep 21, 2004 (SUNA) — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has praised the distinguished relations between Sudan and France, affirming Sudan keenness to consolidate them further at the political, economic and commercial aspects.
Upon receiving the credentials of the new French Ambassador Extra-Ordinary and Plenipotentiary to Sudan, Ms. Christine Robichon, at the Republican Palace Tuesday, President Al-Bashir appreciated the stances of France and the French President, Jacques Chirac, toward the Sudan and its efforts for realization of peace and stability in the country.
Meanwhile, Ms. Robichon affirmed the keenness of her country to boost its relations with Sudan and to support the efforts of Sudan government toward realizing peace, stability and development.
