KHARTOUM, Oct 27, 2004 (SUNA) — The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has extended a sum of 25 million dollars for the project of development of natural resources in Western Sudan, out of the total cost of 49 million dollars.
Director of the Resources Sector at the Ministry of Finance Sheikh Al-Mak said in a press statement following a meeting by the Fund mission at the Finance Ministry Wednesday that the remaining sum would be provided by the government and the beneficiary circles.
