Sudanese president to visit Egypt Sunday

KHARTOUM, Dec 9, 2004 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Omer Al-Bashir, is to visit Cairo on Sunday to hold talks with the President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, on the bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries.

In a joint press conference held here on Thursday by the Foreign Minister,. Mustafa Osman Ismail, and his Jamaican counterpart, Ismail said that the talks between Presidents Al-Bashir and Mubarak will include Darfur issue.

He said that Cairo will witness in the same Sunday convocation of the meetings of the committee of the Foreign Ministers of Sudan, Nigeria, Egypt, Chad and Libya to review implementation of the recommendations of the recent summit in Libya between the Presidents of the five countries.
